The MossRehab Regional Amputee Center offers the following recreational activities for people with amputation.
Explore Workshops: This award-winning series of educational and recreational workshops is available to well, disabled teens and adults. Workshops
are offered at a variety of times throughout the year and have covered topics such as: aerobics, aquatic exercise, gardening,
golfing, cycling, self-defense, scuba diving, tennis and more. To be added to our mailing list, call 215-456-9105 and leave
your name and mailing address.
Fee-for-Service Therapeutic Recreation: Never learned how to ride a bike, golf or ski? Never learned how to participate in recreational activities following your
amputation? You do not have to be a spectator in life. You can be active even after you have had one or more amputations.
We can even connect you to programs in the community to help answer the questions, "Where can I participate?" and "Where can
I find someone to recreate with?" Recreational prosthetic evaluations, activity modification and skill training are available
through outpatient recreational therapy treatment. Fees are negotiable with insurance companies and directly with the individual
patients. Contact the Therapeutic Recreational Department at MossRehab at 215-456-9105.
