Drucker Brain Injury Center is a leader in providing innovative, comprehensive outpatient services for people with brain injury.
Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Evaluation (CORE). CORE assesses the person's mental status and daily living skills, the structure that will be needed for daily living, who
will help with the daily living, and the costs involved. CORE is available at our Elkins Park, Philadelphia and Woodbury,
NJ facilities.
Drucker Day Program provides additional therapy to further establish basic skill levels after a person has returned to the community. Treatment
ranges from two to five days weekly, and involves physical, occupational and speech therapy and neuropsychological intervention
by Drucker Brain Injury Center specialists. The Day Program is available at our Elkins Park, Philadelphia and Woodbury, NJ,
facilities.
Community Re-Entry Program (CRP) helps people build familiar routines that can help them prepare meals, dress themselves or pay bills–the normal tasks of
daily living that are so important to maintaining a sense of self-sufficiency. The focus is on understanding each person's
needs, limitations and goals for reintegration into the community. The program is then tailored to the individual, and training
is often provided right in their own homes. The Community Re-Entry Program is available at our Elkins Park, Philadelphia and
Woodbury, NJ, facilities.
School Re-Entry Program provides individualized services to help people return to academic life. We provide coaching on activities like note taking,
how to study and how to take tests. The School Re-Entry Program is available at our Elkins Park, Philadelphia and Woodbury,
NJ, facilities.
Vocational Directions (Voc-D) is the first program in the Philadelphia region to use a supported work model for people with brain injury. Since employment
is crucial to a sense of worth, we help in finding just the right jobs for our program participants, and provide on-the-job
training. We also provide ongoing counseling to ensure the job environment is successful for the individual. The Voc-D program
is available at our Elkins Park, Philadelphia and Woodbury, NJ, facilities.
The Clubhouse is an innovative, community-based day program that promotes personal success and self-sufficiency for brain injured individuals.
There are no "patients" here, just members who enjoy the socialization and other skills they learn while participating in
club activities such as newsletter writing, meal planning and other activities. The Clubhouse is available at our Philadelphia
and Woodbury, NJ locations.
Life-Long Living Support System offers ongoing psychosocial support and education to individuals with brain injuries and their families. The groups usually
meet monthly to learn how to use the computer as a resource or to learn how to manage stress.
Community Residential Program offers people with brain injury a beautiful, home-like setting to live and learn skills of daily living. Situated in a residential
neighborhood in Woodbury, NJ, the residence offers easy access to shopping and community activities, as well as volunteer
work and other Drucker Brain Injury programs.
