A stroke can leave a person with paralysis, speech, behavior, memory and other problems. MossRehab's rehabilitation professionals
work with patients to help them regain the skills and abilities necessary for performing everyday activities, maximizing their
independence.
Mobility/Paralysis
-
Physical therapists evaluate and treat problems such as motion, balance and coordination. They then help patients regain mobility through exercise
and training.
-
Occupational therapists help stroke survivors learn to perform daily activities such as eating, bathing, writing or cooking.
-
Adaptive Designs for Living is a service that provides recommendations to make the home or work site more accessible for individuals with physical disabilities,
including those who use wheelchairs.
-

our main campus, we can ensure proper fit and provide prompt adjustments when needed.
-

-
MossRehab's Center for Communication Disorders is one of the largest centers in the region. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for patients with swallowing, hearing, speech, language and other
communication disorders.
-

Stroke also can cause cognitive deficits: problems with remembering, paying attention, solving problems, organizing or making
