EINSTEIN HEALTHCARE NETWORK RECOGNITION

  • Over 100 Einstein doctors recognized in 2019 as Top Doctors by Philadelphia magazine. Recognized by their peers for their clinical excellence, the Einstein doctors represent a wide range of clinical areas, including orthopedics, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, clinical genetics, surgery, endocrinology, and others.
  • In 2019, Einstein was awarded Magnet® recognition - the highest honor a healthcare organization can receive for nursing excellence.
  • Castle Connolly “America’s Top Doctors” recognized 107 physicians from Einstein Healthcare Network as outstanding caregivers. The physicians were nominated by their peers in an extensive survey process in partnership with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and results were screened by a physician-led research team from Castle Connolly. The physicians recognized represent a broad array of clinical areas including orthopedics, cardiology, surgery, primary care, endocrinology, obstetrics/gynecology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, clinical genetics, and more.
  • Einstein Healthcare Network was recognized as a Leader in LGBT Equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s annual Healthcare Equality Index.
  • Six physicians were recognized as Top Cancer Doctors in 2015 by Newsweek in conjunction with Castle Connolly Medical LTD, publisher of America’s Top Doctors®.
  • Doctor’s Dilemma Competition – In 2015, a team of Internal Medicine residents from Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia achieved an unprecedented fourth consecutive win of the national championship in the American College of Physicians’ (ACP) medical jeopardy-style competition called “Doctor’s Dilemma™. Team Einstein has more wins than any team in the U.S. and around the world has earned in the history of the competition.
  • Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). To earn AAHRPP accreditation, organizations must demonstrate that they have built extensive safeguards into every level of their research operation and that they adhere to high standards for research.
  • American Diabetes Association Health Champion Designation. The designation recognizes companies, organizations and communities that make health and wellness a priority for their employees, members and community groups and met the designation's healthy living criteria in three areas: Nutrition and Weight Management, Physical Activity, and Organizational Well-Being.
  • Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Philadelphia. Einstein Healthcare Network won the Ultimate Hospital Challenge six consecutive years.
  • Einstein Healthcare Network is recognized as a Breastfeeding Friendly Employer by the City of Philadelphia, together with the Maternal, Child and Family Division of the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, and Maternity Care Coalition.
  • Einstein Healthcare Network earned the Healthcare Supply Chain Achievement Award from Premier, Inc., a healthcare improvement company, two consecutive years.

EINSTEIN MEDICAL CENTER PHILADELPHIA RECOGNITION

  • U.S.News & World Report – Best Regional Hospitals
  • American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Award
  • Einstein’s School of Radiologic Technology was recognized with an Aunt Minnie Award. Each year, AuntMinnie.com awards the “Minnies” which is their annual ranking of the best in radiology.
  • Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia’s Department of Radiation Oncology earned full three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR accreditation signifies that the radiation treatment received by cancer patients meets the highest standards for quality and safety.
  • Willowcrest earned Five-Star Rating from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Facilities with 5 stars are considered to have above average quality.
  • The Marion-Louise Saltzman Women’s Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). NAPBC accreditation is the seal of approval for breast centers from the American College of Surgeons and is an acknowledgement of the Center’s commitment to providing multi-disciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • The Marion-Louise Saltzman Women’s Center is an accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
  • Cardiology/VAD Certification
  • The Joint Commission Advanced Primary Stroke Center
  • Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia has been re-accredited for a full three years as an Adult Level I Trauma Center from the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation. Pennsylvania has four levels of trauma centers. Level I is the highest, capable of providing total care for the most severely injured patients. They also must conduct trauma research, have a surgical residency program, and provide care for at least 600 major trauma patients per year.

  • American Heart Association/American Stroke Association recognized Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia with the Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Award.
  • Einstein Community Health Associates Patient- Centered Medical Home
  • Re-accredited from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons for its Cancer Program.
  • Einstein Healthcare Network earned Watson Caring Science Institute Affiliate designation in recognition of its commitment to implement caring practices in keeping with Dr. Jean Watson’s model of care which includes directions to practice loving kindness, develop helping-trusting-caring relationships, to use creative scientific problem-solving methods, and others

  • Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park earned the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Award

EINSTEIN MEDICAL CENTER MONTGOMERY RECOGNITION

  • Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ in 2016. Healthgrades is an online resource about physicians and hospitals. This distinction places Einstein Montgomery within the top 10 percent of all hospitals evaluated for excellent performance in safeguarding patients from serious, potentially preventable complications during their hospital stays.
  • Einstein Medical Center Montgomery designation as a NICHE hospital – Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders. To qualify as a NICHE hospital, nurses are specially trained to treat frail, elderly patients and offer evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches that promote better outcomes, positive experiences and improved care for older adults.
  • American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines®-Stroke Bronze Quality Achievement Award
  • Joint Commission Advanced Certification as Primary Stroke Center
  • Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® for the Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Program

  • Einstein Montgomery Home Health recognized as part of the Home Care Elite™ program by the National Research Corporation and Decision Health for achievement in highest patient outcomes. Criteria for inclusion in the program include: quality of care, best practice implementation, quality improvement and consistency, patient experience and financial performance.
  • Einstein Bariatrics earned national accreditation as a Comprehensive Center from the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIOP), a joint program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
  • Einstein Medical Center Montgomery’s Cancer Program earned three-year national accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
  • The Breast Health Program at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery earned accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program of the American College of Surgeons. The three-year accreditation is given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
  • Einstein Medical Center Montgomery’s Breast Program is an accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
