Behnam Bozorgnia, MD
Title: Program Director, Advanced Heart Failure
Dr. Behnam Bozorgnia is currently the director of advanced heart failure at Einstein Healthcare Network. Dr. Bozorgnia has finished his medical school at Temple University Hospital in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Drexel University. He then returned to Temple University Hospital to finish his cardiology fellowship. He has been a faculty at Einstein Healthcare Network since 2008. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. He is also board certified in adult Echocardiography, and cardiac nuclear imaging. Dr. Bozorgnia has a special interest in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac imaging.
Raphael Bonita, MD
Dr. Bonita is an Advanced Heart Failure Specialist at Einstein Healthcare Network. He previously worked at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in the Division of Cardiology’s Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Program as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Bonita has been involved in several clinical research trials and has authored a number of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in advanced heart failure. Dr. Bonita obtained his MD degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed his internship, residency, and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Bonita is an active member and fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians.
