Anastasopoulou, Catherine, MD, PhD, FACE

Division Head

Dr. Catherine Anastasopoulou is a graduate of the Medical School of Athens, Greece. She trained in Internal Medicine at the Einstein Medical Center and completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at the LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Sydney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Anastasopoulou joined Einstein faculty in 2002 and she is currently the Steven, Daniel and Douglas Altman Chair of Endocrinology at Einstein Medical Center. She was named one of "Top Doctors in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazine. Her clinical practice includes all general consultative endocrinology, but her areas of special interest are osteoporosis (male and female) and calcium disorders.

Blocher, Nissa, MD, FACE

Fellowship Program Director

Dr. Blocher received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency training and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the Einstein faculty in 2007 and became Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship Program in 2012. She is a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sydney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She was named one of "Top Doctors in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazine. Dr. Blocher has a special interest in the areas of pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal disorders.

Lekprasert, Patamaporn, MD

Fellowship Associate Program Director

Dr. Lekprasert graduated from the Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She completed her internal medicine residency training and a fellowship in endocrinology at the Einstein Medical Center of Philadelphia. She joined the Einstein faculty in July of 2014. Dr.Lekprasert has a special interest in the areas of transgender medicine, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and thyroid disorders.

Mayrin, Jane, MD, FACE

Dr. Mayrin received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, where she also completed her internship. She completed her residency training at Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Brown Medical School. She is a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sydney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She joined the faculty at Einstein in 2008. Dr. Mayrin was named one of "Top Doctors in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazine. She has a special interest in the areas of Type 2 Diabetes, thyroid cancer and the management of the pregnant thyroid patient.

Prater, Janna, MD

Dr. Prater received her medical degree from Kazan State Medical University in Russia where she also completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology prior to coming to USA. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, Case Western University in Cleveland, OH. She completed fellowship training in Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes at Einstein Medical Center and joined the faculty in 2015. Dr. Prater is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sydney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University She has a special interest in areas of Endocrinology related to women's health – polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and hormone replacement therapy.

Ucciferro, Peter

Win, Kay Khine MD

Dr. Win graduated from Institute of Medicine 1, Yangon, Myanmar. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Harlem Hospital Center, NY and completed her Endocrinology fellowship at the Einstein Medical Center of Philadelphia. She joined the Einstein faculty in August 2018.

Dr. Win has a special interest in managing diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and thyroid disorders.
