Bio: Dr. Antonette Climaco completed medical school at University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Disease Fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She joined the Einstein Faculty in 2012. She focuses in general ID, HIV, transplant and travel medicine.

Sarah Perloff, DO
Program Director
Bio: Based in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Sarah R. Perloff is an attentive infectious disease specialist and clinical educator. She earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She pursued her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut and her infectious disease fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She currently serves as an Associate Chair for the Department of Internal Medicine, is the program director for the Infectious Disease Fellowship training program, and is one of the Associate Program Directors for the Internal Medicine Residency training program. Dr. Perloff currently serves on the Infectious Disease Society of America’s National Program Director Committee. She has been honored as a regional Castle Connolly Top Doc (2019, 2020), an Einstein “Outstanding Educator of the Year” award (2019), and the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University Dean’s Award for Excellence in Education (2019).

Eric Sachinwalla, MD
Medical Director, Infection Prevention & Control
Bio: Dr. Eric Sachinwalla completed medical school at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. After graduating he stayed on at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital completing his Internal Medicine Residency as well as serving as Chief Resident. He then pursued Infectious Disease Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He joined Einstein Healthcare Network in 2014 and in 2016 was named the Medical Director for Infection Prevention and Control. His focuses are patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention.

Alejandro Delgado, MD
Attending Physician
Bio: Dr. Alejandro Delgado Daza completed medical school in Universidad Central de Venezuela. After graduating, he then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center where he went on to serve as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Following fellowship, he joined the Infectious Diseases Division at Einstein Healthcare Network in 2016. His areas of interest include general infectious diseases and organ transplantation in patients with HIV. He also has a special interest in bioethics and serves as an Ethics consultant and is a member of the hospital's Ethics Committee.

Robert Fischer, MD

Bio: Dr. Robert Fischer obtained his BA in Physics, magna cum laude, his MS in Applied Mathematics and his MD from Harvard University. Dr. Fischer completed his Internal Medicine Residency at LA County-USC Medical Center and his Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Fischer is the recipient of an Einstein Medical Center Clinical Teacher of the Year Award and a Faculty Council Teaching Award. He has been recognized as a Philadelphia magazine Top Doc each year since 2011.

Hojoon You, MD

Bio: Dr. You received his BA in Cell biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University and his MD from St. George’s University. Dr. You completed his internal medicine residency at NY Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and his infectious disease fellowship at Einstein Medical Center, where he joined the faculty as an Infectious Disease Physician.
