At Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia we have state of the art imaging technology, including a 3T Philips MRI scanner, a 256 slice Philips CT scanner, Philips Epiq ultrasound machines and a brand new Philips angiography suite.
All resident rotations are at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and with our Fuji PACS system, all imaging done at all facilities can be read here providing our residents with the opportunity to view studies done across the entire network with a vast breadth of pathology every day.
We are always trying to stay on the cutting edge of Radiology and incorporating the most advanced imaging techniques for our patients. Every rotation provides a unique experience for our residents with tremendous learning opportunities around every corner. We are particularly proud of our Ultrasound department and the true hands-on training experience our residents get. Over the past year we have developed and have rapidly grown our contrast enhanced ultrasound program through the tremendous efforts of Dr. Shuchi Rodgers. Dr. Cheryl Kirby and Dr. Micah Cohen have been instrumental in growing our Musculoskeletal ultrasound practice as well.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children
We are so fortunate to have two amazing Pediatric hospitals in the city of Philadelphia and our residents rotate at both CHOP and St. Christopher’s. Residents spend a total of 3 months on Pediatric Radiology rotations. During those three months our residents are fully immersed in learning Pediatric Radiology and do not have any clinical responsibilities at Einstein.
