Wellness during residency may seem like an impossible goal given the inherent stress that comes with long hours and great responsibility. The purpose of our Wellness Committee and Curriculum is to empower residents to participate in self-care and create a culture that supports this. Through monthly conferences focused on different aspects of wellbeing, all-inclusive social events, education on mindfulness, and in-house events focused on fun and camaraderie, the Wellness Committee strives to help all residents feel their absolute best as they diligently help their patients do the same.
