Our Division joined the Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) Registry in 2020. The RISE Registry is a qualified clinical data registry (QCDR) developed by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). It is the first and the largest national EHR-enabled rheumatology registry in the United States.
In addition to being a source of improving quality of care for our patients, the registry is also a source of research for our Division. Additional research opportunities include participation in clinical trials, database studies, other research, and quality improvement/patient safety studies.
New fellow(s) are encouraged to identify areas of research interest early. Our fellows are expected to have abstract submissions to local, regional, and national rheumatology conferences. Submission of their scholarly work for publication and dissemination is required for graduation.
