Patient Visits Now Through Telehealth

Einstein’s determination to care for our community and staff continues as we expand services to telehealth. Einstein's Immunodeficiency Center is keeping patients as our highest priority with expanding appointments by phone or online.

Your appointment can be done through your telephone, smartphone, or computer in the comfort of your own home.

For in-person exams, diagnostic workups, and interventional care, know that all operations continue as usual. Our offices remain open and are ready to provide care. For the time being, please continue with treatments prescribed by doctors.

To schedule a telemedicine appointment or contact the Immunodeficiency Center, please call: 215-456-3465.

Einstein Stands with Our Community Against Racism and Injustice

The Immunodeficiency Center (IDC) at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is Einstein's HIV program that provides consistent, high quality and culturally mindful healthcare for diverse adult populations living with HIV and AIDS in North Philadelphia. In 2016, the Philadelphia Department of Health AIDS Activities Coordinating Office (AACO) recognized the IDC as one of the top 3 providers of exceptional quality of care in the region.

The inter-disciplinary care and services team provides:

The IDC delivers comprehensive primary and specialty outpatient HIV treatment with a range of holistic support services. We provide rapid HIV testing and counseling services, HIV medical care by doctors and nurse practitioners certified in HIV medicine, HIV support services such as mental and behavioral health, nutrition, and social work, and HIV prevention services, including Pre- and Post- Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP and PrEP).

The IDC provides quality services that enable people living with HIV/AIDS to maintain healthy and productive lives, and to combat the HIV epidemic by reducing HIV transmission through testing, linkage, treatment and prevention services. Each year the IDC serves over 900 patients from across the Philadelphia metropolitan region, including Montgomery, Bucks, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties.

The IDC celebrates 25 years!
