Organ transplantation can be a life-saving intervention that liberates patients from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. In order to be eligible for a liver transplant, however, you must abstain from drugs and/or alcohol. Our addiction specialists will work with transplant patients to help them overcome their addiction and live a healthy life with their new liver.
