Dr. Sadia Benzaquen Honored as a Top Doctor by AL DíA
Sadia Benzaquen, MD, ATSF, FACP, FACP, Chair of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine for Einstein Healthcare Network, has been honored as a Top Doctor by AL DíA. He is recognized as a member of a new generation of accomplished healthcare professionals of Hispanic descent providing high quality patient care. Dr. Benzaquen has been on the frontlines at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia during the coronavirus pandemic caring for patients with COVID-19.
Dr. Benzaquen is board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care Interventional Pulmonology and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Luis Razetti School of Medicine, Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas, Venezuela and completed his residency in Internal Medicine from Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia where he continued his training and completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. His training continued and he completed a second fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology from the Chicago Chest Center in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Benzaquen is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians; the American Thoracic Society; and the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology; Venezuelan Society of Intensive Care; and the Venezuelan Society of Internal Medicine.
