Einstein Healthcare Network understands LGBTQ+ identified people come against unique barriers when accessing healthcare, and often report negative experiences in healthcare settings, which is why we have a dedicated LGBT+ patient navigator is here to help support you. All Einstein Healthcare Network LGBT+ patients, staff and their families utilizing services within the network can access the Pride Patient Navigator.

The Pride Patient Navigator provides advocacy and support and is responsible for assisting in navigating the healthcare system while assuring optimal patient care. The Pride Patient Navigator helps patients communicate with their healthcare providers so they get the information they need to make decisions about their health care.

Patient Navigation Services Include but are not limited to:

  • Attending appointments with those receiving services within the Einstein Network
  • Assisting in finding appropriate providers who are welcoming and affirming to LGBTQ+ communities and their families
  • Linkage to LGBTQ+ services and resources offered at Einstein
  • Providing referrals to local LGBTQ+ community services, organizations, and health agencies
