Bio: I played competitive soccer for most of my life and am an avid Real Madrid and New York Knicks fan. Thanks to my history as an athlete who has had personal experience with sports-related injuries, I am particularly interested in sports and musculoskeletal-based medicine. Outside of medicine, I am a home cook; I explore my Palestinian heritage through culinary traditions and recipes passed on to me by my family. I also consider myself an amateur barista and ping-pong master.

Bio: I was born in NJ and split my childhood between Jersey City and Scranton. I attended schools that emphasized service for others, which led me to volunteer at local hospitals. This exposure laid the foundation for my interest in medicine, specifically Primary Care. I completed a double major in Biology and Philosophy in Philadelphia. In medical school, I specifically enjoyed rotations that used a multidisciplinary approach. I’m excited to return to the area to work at Einstein. I choose Einstein for its commitment to the community, focus on continuity of care, and promotion of preventative care.

Bio: I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. Prior to joining Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, I attained my schooling from India, and then moved to the Philippines to pursue my Bachelor in Science from Angeles University, and Doctor of Medicine from Davao Medical School. I am committed to primary care, continuity of care and the wellbeing of those in need. I will continue to provide value-based services with empathetic nature to propel health and wellness initiatives forward. Off-duty, you can often find me playing soccer, hiking, biking, or playing guitar.

Bio: I was born and raised in Venezuela, with Italian heritage. I used to work as a General Practitioner in Tachira near the border with Colombia before moving to the US. I am grateful to be part of the Einstein Family Medicine program, where I will be able to learn from excellent faculty to learn the best way to serve our diverse community. I am interested in primary care and preventative health especially in underserved communities.

Bio: Hello everyone, my name is Rishi Modi, and I’m thrilled to be joining such a dynamic group of future leaders in healthcare! I was born and raised in New York City, having grown up in the diverse and multicultural area of Queens, later moving to the more sleepy town of Roslyn on Long Island. I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University, where I focused my electives on social determinants of health, and later completed a research-based master's degree from Columbia University, with an additional concentration in Mind Body Medicine and physician burnout. I subsequently completed my medical degree from St. George's University. Outside of academics, I have a 14-year-old mini schnauzer named Sparky and have been playing piano for over 25 years. Additionally, my wife and I are self-proclaimed gastronomes and we enjoy exploring the local food scene around Philadelphia (we can often be found getting our steps in at Reading Terminal Market).

I had the opportunity to work with the Fresno Medical mission, which is a yearly mission providing cutting edge healthcare to communities in need in Armenia.
